Although campus employers tend to have more hiring activity at the start and end of semesters, you can find a job any time of the year.

The most common ways students find campus jobs are:

    1. Search in 握手
    2. 检查 web pages of large campus employers
    3. 参加 兼职招聘会

Students also find jobs through networking, flyers posted in campus buildings, 与同龄人交谈, professors or university staff, or through external online job boards.

Let’s examine the most common ways students find jobs.

    握手

握手 is the University of Cincinnati’s career platform. It’s free for students and lists on-campus co-ops, student worker positions, local part-time jobs and much more.

    Getting Started in 握手

Once you are enrolled in courses as a student at UC, you can activate your 握手 student account. Go to the 握手 login page, click the blue login button and enter your UC credentials. Learn more about 握手.

    Searching 握手中的工作

In 握手, click the 工作 tab to browse all available jobs. Use keywords and filters to narrow your search results.

For your convenience and to help you get started, we've created some pre-set searches:

*From the Filters page, navigate to the “Job Role” category. Enter the types of roles that match your interests or select from the list of suggested job roles. This filter is essential to narrow results.

    Large Campus Employers

Campus departments or units that hire a lot of student workers often post jobs and links to apply directly on their web pages:

    兼职招聘会

Browse fifty to sixty different employers that offer part-time jobs with immediate openings on and off campus at the annual 兼职招聘会.

The fair typically takes place in the first two weeks of fall semester. Look for it in 握手 starting in August.
